Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advocacy strategies and action plans, which are in alignment to Global Centre’s requirement on National and Local Level Advocacy including LEAP 3.  Progress of implementation is regularly tracked, consolidated and reported
• Policy review papers are timely provided to inform and develop appropriate advocacy approach of World Vision China’s ministry
• External engagement with stakeholders so as to maximize World Vision China’s influences in policy formulation and implementation
• Liaise with regional office and partnership office on the implementation of global and national advocacy plan
• Coordinate and support local training and capacity building, support the integration of advocacy work via World Vision’s transformational development and relief programs 

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Development Studies, Public Administration, Public Policy, communications, Law or related field
• At least 4 years’ relevant experience
• Experience working with government bodies, lobbying and/or policy-focused think tanks
• Understanding of China context in advocacy and external engagement
• Good research skills and previous experience in conducting situational analyses
• Good presentational abilities including public speaking, media interviews and high level meetings
• Good command in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English
• Competent in Chinese Microsoft Office
• Frequent travel to China is needed
