The role is to serve as a point person for different project sites and support offices, providing support in the area of program quality, facilitating project initiation and monitoring and enhancing information flow among WV entities. 

Responsibilities:

• To ensure effective project monitoring, reporting and approval procedure
• To liaise with support offices on funding opportunities, new project initiation and project monitoring
• To review proposals, reports and other project documents
• To assist in launching the program management information system
• To assist in formulation and review of operation guidelines & policies

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 4 years of working experience preferably in project management; applicants with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Program Support Officer
• Prior working experience in NGO as an added advantage
• Good understanding of the China context
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and English
• Proven ability to work independently and as an effective team member
• Strong proposal and report writing skills preferred
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, communications and presentation skills
• Flexibility, self-motivation, attention to detail, patience and a strong sense of responsibility
• Competence in Microsoft Office
• Occasional travel to PRC required
