Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager primary task will be to support the Programme Manager(s) in the delivery of primarily e-Learning projects from initial client referral through initiation, requirements gathering, development, and implementation.
  • The role requires high level interaction with a number of blue chip clients.
  • Interaction with blue chip companies including management of key stakeholders, maintaining first class customer relationships.
  • Defining and documenting project requirements, managing subject matter experts and stakeholders, managing client expectations, pro-active problem solving to maintain project momentum.
  • Preparing project plans and liaising with suppliers to meet the agreed deadlines.  Driving projects through to successful completion and being accountable to clients.
  • Maintaining regular contact (email, telephone and face-to-face communication) with clients to ensure the project runs smoothly. 
  • Participating in status and update meetings, identifying documenting and managing to completion project risks issues and actions.
  • Cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget. 
  • Liaising with the Programme Manager, Account Director and Production Team (including managers, developers, graphic designers and script editors) the Project Manager is responsible for meeting the stated time, cost and quality of delivery criteria, ensuring our client's requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Monitoring the costs and fees
  • Producing status reports
  • Managing issues and risks.
  • Adherence to the agreed scope for each project; ensuring any changes are agreed with the client ahead of implementation.

Requirements 

  • At least 3-year proven experience of managing e-Learning projects through the full project life cycle; from pre-sales though detailed requirements gathering, to client delivery and implementation.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery of e-Learning projects for global blue-chip clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English and Cantonese. Mandarin language skill a plus.
  • Highly organised.
  • Communicating with key stakeholders
  • Any relevant Project Management qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Any exposure to Learning Management Systems would also be beneficial.
  • Experience of working as part of a project team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
