Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage projects properly according to target schedules;
  • Well prepare project progress planning, monitor projects’ progress and report to Project Manager;
  • Handle all submissions, site and contractual correspondence, prepare and reply all correspondence relating to projects and keep full records of project activities;
  • Plan, monitor and manage project schedules to achieve milestones stated in installation programs;
  • Coordinate with design team and attend meetings with clients, main contractors, architects, engineers and other trades for all related matters to designing works;
  • Coordinate and monitor material purchasing and production; coordinate with all other departments relating to projects;
  • Plan, monitor, supervise and coordinate on site activities, material deliveries, quality and safety;
  • Assist in preparation, submission, negotiation and settlement of variation order claim and Extension of Time (“EOT”) claim with clients and main contractors to ensure project financials are met with reviewed budget;
  • Attend all in-house and external project meetings;
  • Review project specifications to ensure all installation related works are complied with project requirements;
  • Monitor and control the progress and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (“QA/QC”) of fabricators;
  • Certify payment to suppliers and subcontractors so as to ensure installation work is completed within budget;
  • Negotiate certain claims with suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Invite, evaluate and negotiate quotations of subcontractors and make selection recommendations to Project Manager;
  • Prepare monthly subcontractors payment applications, assist Quantity Surveyor to prepare variation order applications, and assist Project Manager to negotiate with subcontractors of final account settlements, including dispute;.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with staff of owners, main contractors, architects and all other consultants; and
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • School certificate or above.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience; 2 years of which in construction, curtain wall and cladding works.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English; good Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Good team player, quality and detail oriented, good communication skills.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, initiative, independent, responsible and able to work under pressure.
  • Immediate availability or short notice is highly preferred.
