A global insurer with a specialised and focused product line are looking to add an Actuarial Manager to their growing team. 

This role will be leading a small team in valuating and financial reporting on HK regulatory & economic capital. 

The Role: 

• Lead a team to prepare analysis on financial reports and provide findings directly to senior management. 
• Examine and prepare reports for capital & economic capital. 
• Monitor and develop more strategic processes to streamline ongoing work flows. 
• Speak on a regular basis with regulators from external / internal parties. 
• Take a role in budget planning through analysing the HK Capital reserves. 
• Develop the team and train in relevant areas.  

Requirements: 

• Fully qualified actuary with relevant actuarial qualifications. FSA or equivalent. 
• Life Insurance experience for over 5 years. 
• Excellent communication skills speaking English & Cantonese. 
• Strong presentation skills. 
• Ability or past experience to lead a small team. 
• Exposure in Valuation of reserves. 
• Up to date and detailed knowledge of economic capital trends.
