We are now looking for an Operations Director, Asia.  This position will plan and direct strategic operations initiatives across all plants in Asia to align with global Isola Vision, Value and Purpose.  Implement system and process to achieve operations "Safety, Quality, Output & Costs" targets.  Utilize and maximize regional capacity and contribute to the Global EBITDA target.  This position will be based in Asia.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist VP Operations to develop long term and short term operation strategies to be in line with the business plan, evaluate capital expenditure investment plans from a regional to global perspective.
• Synergize the strength of process engineering, quality for continuous improvement in productivity and savings to achieve operation excellence.
• Regional capacity planning, optimize productivity and maximize manpower utilization across all sites.
• Plan and develop manufacturing capability for new product introductions, advance technology and future production equipment.
• Act as a key interface with R&D program management team, CEG and site leadership to maximize Isola resources to meet future demand in new technology and production capacity.
• Collaborate the leadership teams across all site operations, host regular meetings to share the best practices and improvement areas.
• Work with Technical Program Managers and Operations Directors to define solutions in managing customer’s complaints.
• Monitor TIPS implementation at plant level and provide advices if needed.
• Ensure Safety, Quality, Output and Cost (SQOC) under Asia Operations are align with the company VVG.
• Analyse site performance by measuring KPI and quality metrics.
• Act as an internal auditor for operational compliance such as SOP, quality standard, EICC and EHS etc.
• Develop and escalate Isola culture across all plants. 

QUALIFICATION –  EDUCATION,  EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

• Master degree in manufacturing or engineering disciplines.  Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing multiple plants preferably laminate or semiconductor industry. 
• Strong analytical and technical background to work with R&D teams on product performance issues. 
• Passion to accept new technology.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Able to communication effectively with other counterpart in support functions such as R&D, technical service, supply chain etc. within global Isola organization. 
• Excellent verbal / written communication in English. 
• Well practical knowledge of 6-sigma, lean manufacturing, EHS standards, supply chain operations.
• Advanced skills with MS Office Products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexible to travel.
