PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Organize and facilitate effective design trips, monitor post trip follow up, provide advice to the team for any road block on sampling and costing.
• Drive Calendars for new styles.
• Provide direction to the team for anything impacting the sample readiness and costing.
• Monitor the number of developments and call out for support.
• Monitor the style allocation to make sure the right product at the right vendors per aligned sourcing strategy.
• Work closely with regional design tech in order to let them aware of any complexity garment styles upfront.
• Coach/ Calibrate the team and vendor on costing study and sensitivity on the cost driver.
• Support the team on costing negotiations with vendors.
• Call and hold the risk assessment meeting with cross functional team and vendors.
• Call and hold the product adoption meeting with cross functional team and vendors to make sure all parties on the same page.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 8+ years of solid related experience specializing in apparel/sleepwear, in which 2 years at managerial level.  Experience gained from MNC/ sizable buying offices/ trading firms is highly preferred.
• Well organized and able to work independently
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems with impact to the business
• Able to function in a fast paced environment as well as communicate and negotiate in an effective and clear manner
• Proficient in MS office, including MS Excel
• Good command in oral and written English and Chinese
