Company Description

Our client, a start-up financial institution, is seeking a Head of Capital Markets to join their growing team based in HK.  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and managing DCM activities in HK and China markets.

Responsibilities

• To be in a charge of the entire debt fund raising activities in HK and China
• Drive and monitor the deal execution process, including sourcing, due diligence, rating processes, deal structuring and reporting
• Build strong relationship with (potential) investors and / or other capital market participants
• Act as the go-to-person on the strategic issues related to the company’s future corporate finance /  M&A activities

Qualifications

• University graduate with degree in Finance / Accounting / related discipline
• CFA / CPA qualification is highly preferred
• 10+ years of experience in investment banking / capital markets.  Extensive deal structuring and execution experience in structured finance, asset-backed securities, debt capital markets and/or leveraged finance for Hong Kong and China markets
• Strong relationship building skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
