We’re looking for an experienced Regional QC Manager to join Target. This candidate is responsible to lead a team of Quality Inspectors to design and implement consistent inspection processes, so that “fit-for-purpose” products are delivered on time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute QC projects under quality strategy as per agreed timeline to deliver consistent quality
• Improve QC team efficiency by standardizing the inspection practices among different locations and divisions
• Setup inspection standards and guidelines to internal QC teams and 3rd party inspection companies
• Maximize the efficiency of QC process and workflows of inspection
• Apply statistical methodology in analysing productivity of QC inspection teams for continuous improvements
• Periodically review inspection system and procedures for suitability and effectiveness and recommend changes
• Set guidelines for scheduling inspections, review published schedule and recommend changes if needed
• Conduct root cause analysis for customer feedback and define necessary corrective action with technical teams to avoid reoccurrences
• Clarify and resolve differences or deviations during inspections
• Analyse failed final inspection reports by exception and decide if shipment can be released
• Design and implement robust self-inspection program to factories and suppliers which includes the elements of qualification, training, surveillance and renewal
• Ensure compliance of Target anti-bribery policy by the QC inspectors
• Partner with 3rd party inspection companies to run governance inspections / shadow inspections
  Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders
• Own the induction, coaching and development to create a high performing QC teams with clear measures, development plans and support mechanisms to establish succession plans and talent pipelines

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in related disciplines
• 10-12 years’ solid experience in related field with at least 8 years in managerial role
• Knowledge and experience of technical, production, quality control management and product safety functions in both softgoods and hardgoods
• Working knowledge in quality management, defect prevention and consumer satisfaction
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Experience in leading change, improvements and innovation within field
• Proficient in IT applications especially in the use of MS-Office
