Senior Merchandiser / Merchandiser (Menswear)

Responsibilities:

• Liaising and communicating with overseas buyers for product development flow, price quotation, samples and bulk production progress
• Follow up orders with china factory, vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Communicating with manufacturing team of China factory for costing, material sourcing and order support
• Monitor the entire production process to ensure quality products and punctual delivery
• Sampling follow-Up / understanding of cost structure and able to prepare pre-costing report / booking of raw-material & accessories / in-line production follow-up / final inspection approval
• Strictly meet with the timeline requested by customer (e.g. quick response to customer’s enquiry punctual delivery on the committed Sample Dispatch Date and etc….)
• Handle the entire merchandising procedures for sampling and bulk order allocation, follow-through of production status and update production schedule and delivery
• Co-ordinate with sub-contractors / shipping departments and ensure on time delivery of merchandise

Requirements:

• Knowledge in Mens garment especially in knitted streetwear and sportswear
• Acquired knowledge on sewing up a garment and checking pattern preferable, garment washing and printing.
• Higher Diploma or above in related field
• Minimum 3 years working experience in garment merchandising
• Good command of both written and spoken in English and Putonghua
• Proficiency in MS Office operation
• Can be patient, responsible, self-motivated
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skill
• Enable to stay in China factory at least 1 day per week
• 5 days work, Working location at Fotan and Cheung Sha Wan.
• Less Experience will be considered as Merchandiser.
