Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day management of legal affairs for the business to provide maximum protection of the Company’s contract and legal rights and to ensure that its business is conducted in accordance with legal and contract requirements, and consistent with company internal policie Assist in corporate finance assignments (IPO and M&A) and corporate finance advisory transactions
• Responsible for contract review, legal research, coordination of reports and coordination of meetings
• Translation of legal documents to and from English and Chinese
• Liaise with business units, internal and external parties, and local authorities as required
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices in agreement review and analysis
• Maintain Company legal know-how and training materials
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Legal (LLB) or equivalent
• 2 - 4 years of legal experience from in house or sizeable law firms
• Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols of day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department
• Previous experience handling IPO and M&A work preferred
• Excellent English and Mandarin ability (written and spoken) is preferable
• Good project management and communication skills
• Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department
