The client is a respected global financial group, is now seeking a Regional IT Information Security Consultant, Greater China (Risk, Governance, Compliance) to join their growing team in Asia Pacific. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall information security governance in Greater China (including China, HK & Taiwan) and ensure the information security missions are consistently and effectively executed across the region
• Act as a interface between Information Security team and business units to enforce the Information Security control and highlight the IT risk
• Serve a governance role in Information Security to ensure the implementation of information security policies, standards and procedures
• Ensure the alignment and balance between IT Security and business requirements without compromising security controls
• Ensure the third-party vendor obligations are met from an IT Security and Risk Management perspective
• Consolidate the performance report in IT Security for management review
• Responsible for the security awareness program
• Provide support to the process of gathering, analyzing and assessing the current and future threat landscape
• Perform / coordinate / track the security assessments and support the remediation of identified risks
• Liaise with vendors and the internal stakeholders to establish mutually acceptable agreement on IT security control / measurement
• Assist in the implementation of control framework

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in information security or related areas
• CISSP, CISA, CISM certification is preferable
• Strong communication skills, especially the ability to communicate the security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
• Sound knowledge in cyber risk management, security architecture, regulatory compliance, etc.
• Good understanding of operating system platforms and security models, holistic set of IT technologies and processes, including networking, web/application, change management, SDLC, disaster recovery, monitoring, help desk, etc.
• Good command in both spoken English and Chinese
