The Role

• provide professional advice to the company and factories in relation to chemical testing, techniques, strategy, regulations, standards, best practice, etc, taking into consideration the goals and strategies of the company
• Advise and monitor the chemical test methods and manufacturing processes for the chemicals employed for different consumer products
• Propose the remedial actions and measures for improvement of chemical manufacturing process
• Propose the possible alternative chemicals to fulfil the requirements/regulations of the company’s customers
• Recommend the qualified manufacturers in China
• Conduct effective training to factories and company’s employees in relation to chemical management
• Other chemical related issues

The Person

• Long year experience of chemical manufacturing and control process
• Solid knowledge of chemical test standards and methods for European markets, with experience for small domestic appliances and consumer electronics products preferred
• Good English and Chinese both in written and spoken
• Working Location: Shenzhen or Hong Kong (fully your choice)
• Occasional visits to the different factories in Mainland China, mainly Guangdong area, are required
• Employment type: Freelance / Consultant Contract / Negotiable
