Copywriter/editor

Polygroup is expanding and looking for a full-time offsite copywriter to join our creative team. Candidate will produce on-brand product descriptions and collateral copy for multiple product lines (Christmas trees, seasonal lighting, above ground pools, inflatable toys and airbeds). This is an exciting opportunity to bring your creativity to an innovative company.

Must be self-motivated, have a positive, can-do attitude, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key relationships:

Candidate will work closely with Creative, Product Development, Sales and our team in Asia.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Copywriting for all brand channels, such as packaging, product description, instruction manuals, POP displays, marketing collateral and website
• Develop and apply our brand voice across the platform
• Apply a creative strategy to create persuasive product descriptions
• Proof-reading and editing copy written

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2 years of writing experience
• Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong portfolio of work
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times
• Ability to adapt to direction and receive feedback
• Consumer product experience preferred but not necessary
• Proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
