Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing Director by performing procurement, sourcing, and inventory control activities. Scope includes price and contract negotiation with manufacturers, cost analysis, purchase orders and documents follow up, explore new products opportunity and logistic arrangement.
• Liaise with internal parties such as the sales and warehouse team to keep track of inventory movement
• Evaluate and monitor suppliers performance to ensure quality, safety standards and schedules
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and inventory control

• Handle ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Diploma or University degree in any related disciplines
• At least 3 years of purchasing / merchandising and importing experience
• Experience in building materials  will be an advantage
• Base in Hong Kong but may require to travel oversea
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Chinese Word Processing
• Self-motivated and a good team player with initiative to work under very dynamic environment and tight deadlines
