Working Location: Hong Kong

To take ownership of system administration related tasks and to adopt the role of a business analyst to assist in small scale projects, especially in conducting User Acceptance Test to support routine BAU initiatives and to bridge the gap between Finance users and IT/ vendors.

Job Responsibilities

• Administer daily maintenance operations of the accounting and other Finance owned systems, investigate and provide solutions to business issues arising from these systems, to coordinate help from related IT teams if required, to ensure operations efficiency.
• Participate in reviewing and testing application system to ensure the system generated deliverables can achieve anticipated business benefits.
• Collect, analyse and translate Finance users’ requirements into specifications and documents to ensure the feasibility of projects.
• Coordinate system changes / enhancements with key stakeholders, document for the User Acceptance Test and arrange rollouts such as user training to ensure these changes are executed smoothly.
  
  

Job Requirements

• University degree holder in Accounting / Business or Information Technology.
• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience of finance in major insurance companies/ financial institutions.
• Proficiency in computer skills such as SQL and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access and Excel
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with people at all level
• Initiative, independent, analytical, patient and able to work under pressure
• Strong written and verbal language skills in Cantonese and English
