The Job:

• Assist to develop and support the implementation of the Group operational risk framework.
• Formulate and revise new and existing operational risk management policies.
• Conduct review to identify possible operational risks in the business / support units and provide recommendations for improvement and monitor the implementation progress of enhanced controls.
• Review operational risk incident reports, perform root-cause analysis and follow up the remedial actions with risk owners.
• Review and provide risk assessment/advice on new business and new product initiatives.
• Prepare regular risk reports to senior management, Head Office and the Board.
• Coordinate and support the firm-wide Business Continuity Plan exercise.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 Requirement:

• Bachelor degree in Risk Management, Finance or relevant discipline, with professional qualification (FRM, CIA) is highly preferable.
• At least 5 years operational risk management working experience or experience in internal control or auditing within financial industry.
• Extensive experience in and strong knowledge of risk and control environment
• Good spoken and written skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is required.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work under pressure.
