Main Responsibilities:

• Organizing finance for corporates and financial institutional companies
• Analyzing bank behavior and sources of market liquidity (analyses recent transactions, liaise with lawyers to structure documents)
• Liaise with other professional parties (e.g. lawyers, counter brokers) and regulators (e.g. HKEx) in connection with the execution of DCM transactions
• Aid in the pitching and pricing for future potential financings. (Preparing documents, pitch books to present and discussing points of potential conflict with clients, other banks, and lawyers)
• Reviewing and helping to construct legal documents
• Aiding the structuring and pricing of instruments in line with issuer demands and the bank's internal credit and capital criteria

Requirements:

• Experience in origination of corporate bond issuance with relevant operations and procedure is a must
• Degree holder or above in Finance, Economic or other quantitative discipline
• With at least 8 years' of DCM Execution experience in an established Investment/Corporate Bank, or Securities Firm.
• Wide variety of roles, include: pricing, structuring, legal structure, negotiating, coordinating
• Strong knowledge of international and local currency bond markets
• The candidate would be required to take part in pitches and presentations and meet with clients across the region, with a particular focus on China
• Possess sound financial market knowledge, rules and regulations of capital markets for HK and PRC markets
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare pitching materials and market intelligence relevant to the needs of clients
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Commercial awareness (macro trends and business activity), communication, time management, and organization (handling multiple tasks)
• Mandarin and English would be a requirement because of some of the documents might be in Chinese & English, Cantonese is a plus
