The Job

• Maintain and optimize implementation of internal Quality Policies (QP’s)
• Outline the risk clearly and make informed recommendations
• Provide technical support to assure quality standards
• Develop and maintain the Quality Training Program
• Participate in the resources planning, and capital expenditure review
• Develop, implements, and maintains on policies and procedures in compliance requirements
• Supervise and participate in both internal and external audit activities
• Facilitate new site approval processes and manage customer complaint investigations
• Oversee and manage all specifications of our products with risk management approach
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Person

• Degree holder in Science, Food Science, or related discipline is required, as well as relevant qualifications
• 6-8 years relevant experience in food production or F&B field
• Demonstrated competence in a range of specific product categories (e.g. thermal processing, chilled ready to eat foods, allergen free foods etc.)
• Ability to build risk assessment/ management perspective and skills
• Significant experience in the identification and delivery of Process Improvement
• Good Project Management skills
• Knowledge of HACCP principles/ Quality audit procedures/ relevant GFSI standards
• Competency in Total Quality Management
• Excellent communication and audit writing skills; experience in consulting back to suppliers will be an advantage
• Proficiency in PC applications including MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
