 A day in the life of a People Solutions Specialist

  • Support technical and user issues in our people systems (Workday and Taleo) through listening, researching, troubleshooting, supporting and following-up
  • People love to call you to get help with our systems because you are the voice of reason, support and helpfulness
  • Escalate or re-route issues in a timely manner, always ensuring strong lines of communications with stakeholders until issue resolution.
  • Ensure consistent response times against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Process employee data changes and updates within the HRIS (Workday), always paying attention to detail to ensure data quality
  • Leading the charge in creating step-by-step documentation both for systems users and our internal admin team to increase knowledge and decrease user questions
  • Workday reporting is your forte. You manage the weekly and monthly reporting by assessing employee statistics, updating partner systems such as ADP & EMO, and sharing employee information throughout departments as required
  • Support system innovation through testing, research and discussion
  • Assists People and Culture team with creation of company policies, identifies gaps in current policies and makes recommendations for improvements, updates of new policies as required
  • Manage and update company-wide HR paperwork
  • Acts as the team’s youlu ninja and owns all content updating and management
  • Support visa, immigration and relocation process in partnership with the People Potential and Culture Partner, the immigration agent, global mobility specialist, manager and employee
  • Maintain a high level of self-education, awareness and knowledge of the Pramana employee handbook
  • Works cross-functionally with the People and Culture Partner and FP&A for budgets, roles and org management through the people system
  • Organize and supports the Quarterly Business Review and Exit Interview process for the business
  • Prepare the employment certificate for employees upon their request
  • Provide ad-hoc support to People and Culture Partners and/or People Managers

  • Diploma in post-secondary, preferably in HR or IT
  • Have a desire to make things better, faster and simpler
  • Honest love for guest service and care of people by never settling for anything less than world class service

  • You have a way with words, and your written and verbal communication is clear and intentional
