Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

 

The high-caliber candidate will provides first line network service support to end users and network administration and monitoring support to the company's IT network infrastructure to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient communications network

 

IT System & Network Service Support, Operation and Maintenance

  • Provide daily IT support for internal users on network, servers, virtual PC, printer, IP telephone, WiFi and or any communication network equipment in a timely and professional manner to ensure user satisfaction and good user experience
  • Assign and allocate system administrator resources to handle user fault tickets and service requests effectively such that turn-around time and performance KPI is met
  • Act as the first escalation of system administrator for complex IT support issues to ensure exceptional problems is properly handled to minimize the user impact.
  • Administer all user account setup for IT systems to ensure user privileges are properly managed and comply with the security policy.

 

IT Inventory

  • Promptly update IT asset inventory record including hardware, software, warranty, maintenance and IP resources assignment for accurate capacity planning and life cycle management to maintain integrity and fulfill audit requirement
  • Leader the end user IT asset lifecycle management including sourcing, evaluation, purchasing, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, relocation, upgrade and replacement of end user IT equipments and software to fulfill user demand at the right timing
  • Keep updates latest software, drivers and patches according to the user profile to minimize compatibility problems.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline. MCSE / MCITP / RHCE is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in network support for enterprise organization with 2 years team management experience
  • Hands-on knowledge on windows server setup and administration, PC desktop and mobile device deployment.
  • Experience with administer and user support on desktop PC and notebook, remote access & mobile devices.
  • Understanding of ITIL base service support model is an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential.
