Job description:

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer who will provide technical support to our clients and our internal development team.

 The successful candidate will:

• Provide day-to-day maintenance and technical support for company-wide network infrastructures
• Perform software and hardware installation in servers and workstations. This includes setting up, maintaining, performing and monitoring back ups
• Use network management systems and appropriate analyzers to collect network load statistics and model performance
• Provide telephone, email and onsite installation & technical support to our clients and our internal development team
• Work on assignments in areas such as cloud, tool evaluation and product testing
• Provide on-site support for network incidents during non-office hours
• Perform Disaster Recovery Drills
• Manage and execute program deployment, system configuration, backup/restore of databases and files
• Prepare/update reports and documentation when necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Computing or Science or a related discipline
• 3 years Hands-on experience in web infrastructure, network security, database management, LANs and server operation of a medium to large size IT infrastructure
• Familiar with Windows/Linux/UNIX/Solaris an advantage
• Knowledge in server virtualization such is Hyper-V, VMware, Azure Cloud is preferred
• Knowledge in cloud deployment and holder AWS, Azure, or private cloud certification is a definite advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Openshift Admin is a definite advantage
• Solid knowledge and experience in system monitoring and networking
• Lesser experience would be considered as Junior System/System Engineer

 The following qualifications are preferable but not a must:

• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cloud Computing Certification
