Information Officer (Application Services)

Information Technology Services Centre

The appointee will work with a team of IT professionals to develop application, provide support, documentation, training, and performing any other job-related assignments for the University’s ERP administrative systems.

Requirements: (i) a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent; (ii) minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development experience; (iii) experience in SQL database (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc) is preferred; (iv) practical skills in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, PHP will be an advantage; (v) excellent communication and organizational skills; (vi) proficient in written and spoken English; and (vii) strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. The appointment will be made on an initial contract for two years with the possibility of contract renewal subject to mutual agreement.
