Responsibilities:

• Handle the day to day business dealings on behalf of the music artist
• Representing the artist in negotiating and drawing up contracts
• Develop marketing plans or tour goals for the artist’s music career and to recommend and implement actions to achieve them
• Handle related financial affairs, including budgeting expenditures, paying taxes, costs of travel and lodging, etc.
• Scheduling recording sessions and/or arranging performances and concert tours
• Develop contacts with promoters in order to book performance dates and interviews
• Liaise with lawyers, publicists, business managers, promoters, recording labels,  and other people of contractual rights and obligations
• Hire coaches and trainers to help artist with dancing, voice, translations, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / Law / Music or related disciplines
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in artist management 
• Know the ins and outs of the music business
• Knowledge in accounting, entertainment law, and contracts
• Skilled in business communications and developing relationships between parties
