Responsibilities:

• Manage the assigned product category to drive sales and meet target margin
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive price, deals and terms
• Source and assist in identifying new suppliers for better price and product quality
• Coordinate and follow up with suppliers and forwarding companies on buying and logistics activities
• Coordinate with external and internal parties to deliver best promotion campaigns
• Report to Management and provide administration support which not limited to Purchase Order, Claims, Pre-payment, Shipping schedule, Clients deposit and enquiries
• Prepare and analyze daily and weekly management reports for management review
• Handle ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Food Science / Food & Nutrition or Business related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years solid experience gained in Sourcing / Buying / Trading industry, prefer experience in Food Merchandising (Frozen Food) industry
• Detail-minded, good analytical skill, strong market awareness, strong negotiation skill and can work under pressure
• Good command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Computer literacy and MS office skills is required
• PRC and overseas business travel is required
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Trading Executive
• Immediately available or short notice period is highly preferred
