Our client is a multinational retailing company, they are urgently seeking qualified candidates with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new products and vendors 
• Manage and follow through all-round merchandising activities including but not limited to price negotiation, project co-ordination and delivery, buying trips and factory visits
• Work closely with the teams to create / review product briefs and initial product schedules / agendas; ensure project schedules / agendas are always effectively and efficiently communicated
• Maintain up-to-date market trend information

Requirements

• Higher diploma or above with minimum 5 years merchandising experience in sizable trading or international buying office
• Good product knowledge and supplier networks in home improvement and DIY product
• Proven skill sets on time and project management, communication and negotiation
• Able to perform well under work pressure and meet tight deadline
• Regular business travel is required
• Good computer skills
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Excellent negotiation, communication and sourcing skills
