Job Description

Responsibilities:

Sales Assistance              

  • Provide sales administrative support by handling appointments and scheduling sales meetings for our business development managers
  • Contact new and potential customers and Initiate first time call, alone, or in conjunction with the business development representative.
  • Generate sales leads and distribute to appropriate parties overseas.
  • Assist in customer inquiries as first point of contact.
  • Coordinate shipments and liaise with operations and customers.
  • Communicate with business development team if specific client problems need to be addressed.
  • Accompany business development specialist on customer calls, as required.
  • Special focus with rewards on successfully contacting prospective clients leading to profitable business for MIQ.

 

Clerical

  • Using our in house customer management tool (FQP) to:

    o Create and maintain customer profiles

    o Prepare and maintain customer quotations

    o Log and monitor all sales lead activities

  • Maintain and update rate tariffs with our regional rate management team.
  • Establish customer sales reports.
  • Administer and maintain agent network directory.
  • Generate and distribute internal and external reports as assigned by the management.
  • Assist in developing power point presentations, i.e. sales kits, country presentations.
  • Help in documentation and processes when opening new accounts.

 

Other

  • Exercise good relationships with our overseas partners.
  • Other sales and clerical related work as assigned by the management.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Logistics/ Supply China or related disciplines preferred
  • 3-5 years experiences in logistics with customer services experience
  • Good PC knowledge (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written)
  • Hands-on mentality, pro-active, detail minded
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
