This position is to assist Manager, Process and Performance Management, Hong Kong to refine and standardize ocean operation process aligned with business goal(s) and drive data quality improvement with defined level in Hong Kong & South China region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data quality on ocean operation to reach business target
- Be an application support to analyze problem, identify root cause and provide feasible solution(s) for application, mainly for Transport Management System
- Lead process improvement project(s) to drive for productivity improvement
- Responsible for the fulfillment of all assigned project and manage the schedule for the completion of the project;
- Prepare handling instruction(s) and/or standard operating procedure on providing guidance for ocean operation
- Collaborate with internal partners and IT to define a right solution
- Take initiatives to provide suggestion and/or recommendation to management for process improvement area(s)
Requirements:
- Possess core competences including initiative, willing to learn, flexibility, planning, organizing, team player and co-operation
- Motivated self-starter & able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Should possess sound analytical thinking and an ability to handle projects independently
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Good computer knowledge including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
- Diploma graduate or above in Logistics industry / Management is preferable
- Minimum 6 years or above relevant experience in ocean freight forwarding industry
- Work location: Kowloon Bay
