Our client is a renowned Securities and Asset Management institution with strong presence in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion, they are now looking for high caliber professionals to fill the posts in their Treasury Department.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the appointee will perform the following responsibilities:

• To manage the Treasury trading book including potential US Treasury, Government bonds, Investment Grade bonds and repo and to safeguard the company’s funding position and liquidity, as well as generate profit
• To oversee a team of 2 staff in treasury function in our licensed corporation in SFC type I license
• To work closely with other internal counterparts in order to provide relevant support when required
• To form views on treasury products and to execute transactions
• To assist in maintaining our banking relationships

Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Economics or related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years’ work experience in either bank or corporate treasury function, including at least 3 years proprietary trading experience in fixed income and/or FX products
• Knowledge in financial markets including bonds, foreign exchange, interest rate and fixed income
• Knowledge in derivative instruments including cross currency swaps, interest rate swaps, FX and interest rate options
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must
• A relevant professional qualification
