Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and provide day-to-day support on infrastructure areas including hardware, software, end-user and helpdesk support;
• Responsible for administration, monitoring, backup/recovery and patch management for servers, VM, firewall and networking equipment;
• Handle Installation of hardware and software as well as maintain software / hardware inventory, process renewal, maintenance and subscription;
• Deliver technical documentation of infrastructure, network diagram and standard operation procedures;
• Liaise with third party vendors for consultation and assistance in the resolution of issues and queries;
• Participate in infrastructure projects and implementation work;
• Assist in negotiation with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services;
• Provide trading application support if required;
• Carry out maintenance/enhancement tasks as required by HKEX in order to maintain a smooth trading environment;
• Handle infrastructure and security assignments as required by the Group and SFC Electronic Trading Ordinance and Circulars
  
  

Requirements:

• University graduate in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Qualifications of MCSE / CCNA / LINUX / ITIL is preferred;
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in IT Infrastructure area, preferably in finance or securities industry;
• Proven track record providing network devices (switch, router and firewall), Windows Server 2008-2016, LINUX, Wi-Fi, Office 365, virtualization and storage configuration, backup and system recovery;
• Experienced with IT Security, high availability and disaster recovery solutions;
• Experience in IP PBX support and voice recording system is preferred;
• Good understanding of trading and market data facilities such as 2GoTrade, SharpPoint, ET-NET, CCASS, DCASS, etc. an added advantage;
• A good team player with sound IT know-how and exposure;
• With can do attitude, Self-motivated, and able to work independently under a dynamic environment;
• Strong interpersonal skills and can work with different stakeholders and external vendors;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English & Chinese including Mandarin;
• Immediately available is highly preferred
