Responsibilities

• Responsible for improving development efficiency through process, tools and automation
• Articulate and drive a technical, strategic vision that improves developer productivity
• Lead process and quality improvement efforts, participate in strategic and product planning, and manager resources across teams
• Deliver highly-performant and highly-scalable datacenter and cloud services at an optimized cost point
• Also responsible for maintaining a high level of service availability. Perform quality reviews, manage operations, and operational issues
• Build a team of DevOps engineers and systems administrators, evaluate performance and provide feedback
• Help shape our products to be best in class

Qualifications we value

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred) plus 6 years of work experience
• Deep understanding and experience setting up and managing continuous integration or continuous development
• Experience designing, building and managing large scale cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Compute Engine
• Passion for developer productivity and experience automating developer pain points
• Experience in iOS, Android, and Web build environment
• Proficiency in programming languages
• Experience with Agile development, techniques and methodologies and with CI/CD including experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation
• Track record of managing a high performing team, growing and mentoring engineers, and building a strong engineering culture
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with administering databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Cassandra
• Experience with configuration management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
• Experience working with a scripting language like Ruby or Python
• Confident coding within Linux environment
• Knowledge with container management using Docker and Kubernetes a plus
• Experience implementing framework to monitor and minimize outage times
• Experience setting Window servers and using Active Directory a plus
• Fluent in English to work in our multi-national team
