Reporting to the Director, Project Development, the appointee will be required to:

• be responsible for supporting the technical work in the development of the supercritical CO₂ dyeing system, such as preparation/revision of 3D CAD design drawings and debugging the control program of the system;
• conduct hands-on experiments for the project and dyeing trials, and provide logistic support and assistance to the senior research staff;
• manage R&D projects, including technical and financial aspects and other project administrative tasks, such as preparation of project updates and reports;
• work closely with R&D researchers and personnel;
• coordinate with local and overseas universities, research institutions and business partners, and handle enquiries in a professional manner; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• an honours degree or above in Textile Technology, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline;
• background knowledge of and skills in chemical experiment as well as basic analytical skills;
• highly-organized and capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments;
• excellent interpersonal skills; and
• fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with a good command of Putonghua being an asset.
