Job Responsibilities 

• Lead a strong process driven high focused quality control team
• Build good direct long-term relationships with customers and vendors, so that there trust in the Bangladesh office will generate business
• Coordinate with product development, technical support, quality control and production teams to ensure samples development, product quality and deadlines are met  
• Provide leadership at the highest ethical standards that inspires the team to work to a professional standard expected by M.Magtague Group.
• Build a strong partnership with colleges in Hong Kong Head Office. Keeping them abreast of both immediate and longer term issues effecting production.
• Give direction to merchandising team to ensure all orders are followed up properly, efficiently and cost-effectively
• Coach and monitor the team members to develop a strong team for achieving the business targets
• Identify and develop new potential garment manufacturers and materials suppliers
• Work in partnership with Hong Kong office on social compliance issues

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Garment, Merchandising, Textile or related disciplines is preferable
• At least 10 to 15 years’ solid experience in garment merchandising, in which 5 years at the same level
• Strong product knowledge in high quality fashion garments.
• Experience in dealing with US buyers
• Solid experience in working with Bangladesh vendors is a MUST
• Good supervisory and delegation skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Responsible, presentable, well-organized and self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure
• Willing to travel
