Fresh Accounting is a dynamic and independent accounting firm based in Central, Hong Kong. We are a leading Xero partner and provide cloud based accounting solutions to our clients. We provide monthly accounting services and CFO services, along with implementation solutions to our clients.

We are looking to recruit a capable, self-motivated and energetic accounting professional to expand our team.

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to work 2-3 days per week and undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation on behalf of our clients, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Part-Time Financial Controller 

Duties & Responsibilities

Based predominantly in the office, with some visits to client sites:

• Manage all accounting operations on behalf of clients; 
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances for clients;
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements;
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance; 
• Support month-end and year-end close process;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls on behalf of clients;
• Provide support and guidance to client staff;
• Provide training to client staff;
• Other ad-hoc activity as required;

Skills & Experience

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years’ experience in Accounting industry
• Knowledge/skills in Xero is required
• ICAA or CIMA  qualifications is highly preferred but not a must
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Analytical, numerical sensitive, able to meet tight deadline
• Fluent in English and Cantonese

• Remuneration package includes MPF, 20 days holiday and benefits
