Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Securities, oversee the financial control, management reporting, statutory reporting, taxation and finance projects of the securities business in Hong Kong.
• Formulate, review and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationship with external parties, including auditors and bankers.
• Conduct and coordinate team members on business analysis, re-engineering and managing projects on new products.
• Review and supervise daily tasks carried out by the department.
• Ensure proper accounting records of entities in compliance with SFO, tax legislation, approved accounting standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate work among the accounting staff and internal departments.
• Monitor daily cash management and regulatory compliance issues.
• Review and prepare Head Office reports.
• Authorise and review payments.
• Liaise with eternal auditors for year-end audit arrangement.
• Review and check expense disbursements.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accountancy.
• Holder of HKICPA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' practical experience in financial industry.
• Solid experience in FRR and SFC/regulatory compliance.
• Pro-active, able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and attentive to details.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficient in spoken Mandarin.
