Assistant Accountant - Securities Brokerage $18K-22K 

Responsibilities

• Prepares / reviews daily funding sheet;
• Prepares / reviews FRR return;
• Prepares / reviews balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents;
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
• Other ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting or related discipline;
• Minimum 3 years accounting working experience, in Securities Firm is an advantage;
• Experience or knowledge in MYOB accounting system is an advantage.;
• Proficiency in PC skills, MS Office including Excel and Word
