Job Description

We are now seeking applications from senior level candidates to join our client’s expanding Securities Services team as Programme Test Manager. The successful candidate will be engaged on a 6 month contract.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for testing processes and standards, across all testing phases from unit testing to implementation. Other responsibilities include:

  • Govern and drive implementation of Group approved frameworks and standards for testing within the Project to ensure compliance
  • Ensure adequate testing is carried out across all phases of the project prior to deploying changes in production
  • Apply testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives. Identify test improvements and assist in their implementation
  • Work closely with Project Managers to understand areas where GTM will be able to add value
  • Conduct regular review of projects'/programme test phases (from UT to Implementation UVT) and submit findings to stakeholders
  • Act as single point of contact for testing solutions, testing related risk assessments and mitigation plans


About you:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 years experience as test manager in banking/finance. Candidates with experience in custody and corporate action product as well as BaNCS are highly preferred.
  • Proficient in project and stakeholder management
  • Strong ability to implement and adapt to change
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proactive mindset and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in Cantonese and English.
