We are looking for a high calibre business manager to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures.  The business manager role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  You will be the company’s second-in-command and maintain control of entire business operations, and so we expect you to be an effective and efficient leader who takes initiative to drive extensive and sustainable growth of the organization.    

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in daily operations of the company (IT, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Risk Management, etc)
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures with the senior management team
• Manage relationships with partners, banks, and other external counterparties
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating and financial conditions of the company
• Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes and actively search ways to improve and enhance processes
• Keep abreast of industry trends (which includes changes in rules, law and regulatory regime) and updates relevant business policies and procedures if necessary    

Requirements  

• Minimum 5-10 year experience
• Proven solid experience in business operation and management
• Experience and knowledge in asset management or fund management 
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, Compliance, Marketing etc.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
• Demonstrate competency in strategic planning and business development
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in Putonghua
• Working knowledge of data analysis and IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
