Our client is a leading Financial Technology company providing the best service platforms for both consumers and businesses to ease them through payment and investing processes. The client is widely recognized by many for their high quality risk management systems and consistent development.

They are now seeking for a Legal Assistant that is coming from an in-house or a law firm background with previous training in corporate finance preferably with IPO or M&A experience. The individual must be a stable candidate that is independent and has high interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in corporate finance assignments (IPO and M&A) and corporate finance advisory transactions
• Manage and coordinate with external parties to draft, negotiate and close transactions
• Conduct due diligence as well as communicating with regulatory authorities
• Maintain, organize and transfer established files onto database
• Assess deals with valuation analysis and financial modeling
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in law or related discipline
• 2 to 3 years plus legal working experience from an in-house or law firm environment
• Previous experience handling IPO and M&A work preferred
• Knowledge of listing rules and takeovers code  in both PRC and Hong Kong regions
• Knowledge of corporate finance and securities market
• Native or highly fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
• Fluent English
• Organized, stable, responsible, excellent communication, self-motivated and independent

Salary: 40k – 48k
