Audiology Assistant

Job Vacancy Available 

Phonak Hearing Centre Hong Kong Ltd is looking for enthusiastic Audiology Assistants to be part of our dynamic and motivated team. 

Our hearing centres are involved in a variety of professional hearing care services including paediatric and adult audiological assessment, hearing aid fitting, cochlear implant pre & post-operative services, other clinical & technical support services as well as participation in outreach professional support programs to the KAM Hearing Centres in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting audiologists in hearing testing of adults and children
• Instructing patients in proper use and care of hearing aids and other amplification devices
• Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs to hearing aids, earmolds, and other amplification devices 
• Performing electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids and other amplification devices 
• Responsible for giving hearing aid guidance and orientation to hearing impaired adult and children
• Performing equipment maintenance and checks 
• Maintaining and restocking test and treatment rooms 
• Performing infection control duties within the centre

 REQUIREMENTS: 

• Associate degree or higher diploma from a local University or equivalent
• Pleasant, courteous & hardworking character
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin 
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentations skill 
• Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

    RENUMERATION PACKAGE:

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. Fringe benefits including 14 days’ annual leave, provident fund to the right person. 

Contract Period :

One Year Fixed Term
