This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

This incumbent is responsible the effective and efficient project management of design and construction contracts to ensure that both the medium and long-term development projects are planned and delivered to meet the Authority’s quality standards.

Responsibilities:  

• Managing all aspects of project quality related to TRD’s design consultancy and construction contracts and communicating quality protocols among the team, consultants and contractors
• Planning and developing the required Project Quality Plans and taking all necessary actions to ensure the team follows strictly in accordance with the plan
• Reviewing and approving all quality manuals and quality plans submitted by the consultants and contractors and conducting all necessary quality audit on the consultants and contractors
• Reviewing and revising Projects/TRD internal procedures as necessary, and preparing and presenting Quality Management System training programme for TRD team to ensure their solid understanding of the Quality System requirements in the project implementation
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, developing and implementing improvement plans to enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintaining records of quality plans and audits

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Civil/ Structural/ Maritime/ Geotechnical Engineering, or other related disciplines
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum 6 years in project management
• Proven practical experience in project quality management of major multi-disciplinary projects
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, hard-working and result-oriented  
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Holder of a valid HK driving license preferred
