Our client is a US private trading business, partnering with many of the well-known global retail brands. They are now looking for a finance manager to lead the HK finance function and to support regional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• reporting to the regional finance VP, you will be in charge of the day to day finance operation in HK
• In charge of month-end closing activities and preparation of reporting schedules along with co-ordination of closing processes with corporate office
•  Prepare financial reports to support decision making and improvement of senior management.
• Communicate with different internal department for operation improvement
• Lead, manage and develop a small finance team
• Support VP to operate regional projects
• Work closely with corporate HQ to ensure SOX compliance
• Support new ERP system development and assist in ad-hoc duties when assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• 8 years or more related experience in both FP/A and financial reporting
• Big 4 background is a must, manufacturing/trading/sourcing experience preferred
• Well-versed with ERP and Microsoft office would be a plus
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
