Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team of the company; review monthly cost control reports and management reports (with performance analysis) and ensure all reports are properly prepared on a timely basis;
• Ensure proper preparation of financial statements (including consolidated financial statements) in compliance with Macao/China/Portugal accounting standards and proper preparation and disclosure in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS) to meet the group reporting requirements;
• Conduct yearly budgets, forecasts and long term business projections preparation for management purposes;
• Review monthly cash flows with key indicators, indicating the current and long term commitment/expenditure. Ensure the company has healthy cash flow position and credit facilities to support the operations and investments;
• Communicate and ensure proper liaison with banks, consultants, legal advisor, tax agent, internal and external auditors;
• Ensure accurate tax calculation and timely tax return submission and reconciliation; propose effective tax planning for different group of companies ;
• Support CFO in Portugal or China Due Diligence projects from time to time, review the financial analysis done on the new projects for management decision etc.
• Support project and operation team in tenders and other financial operational related tasks;
• Understand the importance of internal control system and ensuring the compliance with Group requirement through the daily financial control verification and review. Propose the alignment and improvement needed of current processes.
• Setting up of new processes and procedures (for the new businesses) in Macao and in China/Portugal especially on project management, procurement and property management and related financial processes ; Support and assist local team in business process analysis and set up; recommend effective measure to improve control;
• Ensuring the taxation, statutory and reporting requirement of companies in China
• Assist CFO for any special account/finance related assignment in the company as required.

Requirements:

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience of which 10 years in managerial level in a sizable organization in China i.e Group of Companies and International Company set up in China.
• Familiar with IFRS and accounting software. Proficient in Accounting Standards and Tax regulation, Audit and Internal control requirement especially in Hong Kong/Macau and China;
• Wide range of working experience and expertise in Audit, financial and internal control, and treasury;
• Strong planning and organizing, analytical and diagnostic skills;
• Effectively communicate with all level of staff including senior management members;
• Strong with project management skill and leadership skill;
• Degree Holder in Accounting from a reputable university or accountancy institution;
• Strong integrity and able to work and grow with the company.
• Good interpersonal skills to work across internal departments.
• Station in Macau.
