Job Description
Multinational watch manufacturer owning several international brands - with Product Development & Procurement office in Hong Kong; as well as a watch assembly factory in China – is looking for a WATCH PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – with details as follows :
- Post secondary education
- Studied overseas is a plus
- 2 to 5 years working experience in watch industry.
- Watch product development and project management experience is preferable
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Well organized and able to perform multi-tasks
- Flexible and adaptable to changes
- A good team player
- ERP system knowledge (such as SAP) is a plus
- Report to the Product Development Manager
- Responsible for follow through product development from presentation sample stage to production to ensure timelines are met
- Proactively identify project challenges and to collaborate with different internal and external parties to resolve issues
- Coordinate and work with product development officers to handle new projects accurately and efficiently
- Be a team player and proactively support and collaborate with supervisors, teammates and other departments
- Interaction with China factory to address product issues
- Partner with US product and planning teams through collaboration and communication to accomplish common goals
- 5 days work
- Candidates with more solid experience will be considered for the post of Senior Product Development Officer/Asst Manager (2 posts)
