Job Duties

• Establish, implement and monitor operating procedures and standard of housekeeping department
• Monitor and oversee all daily housekeeping functions
• Keep good communication with other departments and Housekeeping team members, make sure the accuracy and exactness with good communication.
• Ensure efficient and friendly services is provided at all times
• Schedule and monitor various cleaning and maintenance program for rooms and public areas
• Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping supervisors and their team
• Ensure a well cleaned, comfortable, well maintained and welcoming environment
• Monitor and control inventories, consumption and wastage of equipment, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen supplies
• Apply management skills for hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating performance
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Willing to accept extra assignment as required by superior and hotel management

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years managerial experience within housekeeping
• Solid working knowledge of Housekeeping operation
• Mature, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Quality control and paying attention to details
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
