Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Manage and monitor IT related procurement tasks, including but not limited to purchase of IT equipment and service, renewal of IT maintenance contracts, specification preparation, cost estimation and evaluation
  • Assist fixed asset manager to monitor and manage software and hardware inventory, including the support of operating system and desktop software standardization, and also maintain proper records of all IT equipment in SAP
  • Provide helpdesk support service for general users, such as handling user enquiries, IT equipment deployment and disposal
  • Provide IT support services, including arrangement of website hosting service, scan websites to generate vulnerability reports, coordinate with user and system engineer to fix web site vulnerability, manage domain name registration and renewal service, etc.
  • Assist teams to handle IT projects and new IT service administration, and provide basic technical and user support
  • Provide general administration support, including MIS unit budget record maintenance
  • Work on shifts and adhoc projects assigned from time to time

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree from disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent with 2 years or more relevant experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, in particular, using Excel for data analysis
  • Experience in using SAP for IT equipment purchase and fixed asset management an advantage
  • Knowledge of website hosting service, network infrastructure, server vulnerability scan, domain name registration preferred
  • Mature, multi-tasking, willing to learn, proactive, and able to work independently and under pressure
  • Customer-oriented and work harmoniously with internal and external partners
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
