IMIT is currently looking for a Web Developer to join its team in Hong Kong to assist in providing web application solutions. You will have ownership of the architecture, design and implementation of your projects, and you’ll get the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies while solving unique challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Communication with clients to understand their business and project needs.
• Be responsible for developing, expanding and scaling projects.
• Ownership of project which involves following through from project inception through design to completion.
• Iterate on solutions based on internal and client feedback.
• Be self-directed and be able to prioritize your own workload.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations.

Requirements:

• Experience with website and web application building, including a good understanding of web development process.
• Experience with working on a full stack, whether it’s building or debugging one.
• Expertise with at least one of the following languages: Go, PHP, Ruby, NodeJS, Python, C/C++, Java.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Solutions oriented and ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Experience in dealing with clients.
• Good command of Cantonese and English.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
