Summary

The IT Support Engineer is a shared position with responsibilities for all the ARRI sites throughout the APAC area.

Primary function is to provide IT support for end users, user devices and the network.

Assists global IT staff in planning, and carries out local implementation of all additions, deletions and modifications, adhering to global company standards and policies.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide local and remote end-user support for all employees, resolving technical issues and providing technical assistance for mixed IT environments in local office and remote branches
• Set up new employees with equipment and access and help familiarize them with systems
• Quickly identify and escalate issues as appropriate
• Support and maintain printers, PCs, phones and all other IT related hardware
• Control IT contractors and service providers
• Assist global IT with projects as they arise
• Adheres to all organizational standards

Qualifications/Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Microsoft or Cisco Certifications preferred
• Minimum five years experience in IT support
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Comprehensive knowledge in maintaining Windows / Mac office applications
• Ability to configure, install, change PC, Mac, printers, network and related
• Experience managing Service Level Agreements with ISP’s and contractors
• Experience with PBX systems / VoIP / Smartphones
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing (English, Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Customer service oriented
• Some travel required
