Responsibilities

• Ensure trade compliance with applicable international trade laws and regulations in those countries in which we conduct business operations
• Work with all stakeholders to implement appropriate internal trade compliance processes and procedures to comply with all applicable import/export and customs regulations
• Be the escalation point to all internal stakeholders on all matters related to trade and customs compliance
• Keep abreast international trade regulatory changes and challenges
• Participate in conducting trade compliance training to internal stakeholders
• Work with both internal business units and external vendors & customers to ensure all compliance information is maintained
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures in trade & customs areas for both internal and external operators
• Develop, validate, and implement Country of Origin determination process from import of raw materials to export of finished goods
• Conduct annual internal / external Customs audits to ensure development and effectiveness of internal and external controls are aligned with current policies & procedures

Requirements:

• University degree in logistics, supply chain or Business Admin.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Over 3 years previous experience working in apparel manufacturing industry
• Deep technical knowledge and experience on textile & apparel classification, customs regulations, import / export regulations and industry practice for apparel industry
• Knowledge of international trade preference programs and requirements desired 
• Detail oriented with emphasis on following up in a fast paced environment 
• Attentions to details, excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Adaptive to fast and continuous change, as well as to quickly analyze, document, and defend subjective matter 
• Ability to work independently.
• Frequency travel is required
