Job Description
HK listed sweater garment manufacturer with 120 staff in Hong Kong office and 2000 workers in Dongguan factory - main market is USA - is looking for a QA MANAGER - with details as follows :
- Tertiary education
- Studies in Textiles/Clothing related is an advantage
- 10 to 15 years quality experience in garment; of which minimum 5 years at managerial level
- Good experience in handling sweater garments
- Experience in US market/US brands
- Experience in sweater manufacturers is an advantage
- Initiative, aggressive and willing to take challenges
- Organized and quality conscious, good sense of integrity, independent with good communication skills
- Strong leadership and management skill to lead QA teams in Hong Kong office and China factory
- Business level spoken and written English and Chinese
- Report to the Director
- Fully responsible for all QA issues of the Company
- Lead QA team of 2 QA staff in Hong Kong office; and 12-15 staff in China factory
- Lead QA team to perform quality control and garment construction
- Maintain good relationships with related parties
- Ensure the products meet customers' quality and requirements
- Communicate with customers on QA issues and provide solution
- Provide technical advice to buyers and manufacturers
- Leading, coaching and training QA teams in both Hong Kong and China
- Frequent Dongguan trip needed
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary plus performance bonus
- 12 days annual leave
